"Cleo" Chapman

Cleo is a retired racer originally from Melbourne, Florida, born April 14, 1997. We adopted her through Greyhound Lovers of Hamilton Wentworth (http://www.glohw.on.ca). She made the long journey from Florida to London Ontario in August 1999 and she has been a delightful member of our family ever since. Everyone falls in love with those big brown eyes (and who can blame them?). She loves her stuffies and her humans, not necessarily in that order. She is a really sociable goofball, she just quivers with delight if anyone pays her attention and she is such a sweetie with other dogs. She is particularly fond of puppies and rolls them around on the ground, growling gently. My neighbors love bringing their dogs to our yard for a romp as Cleo is such a good hostess and shows them how well she runs. We know all the other greyhounds in our neighborhood and recently doggie-sat Kira (a lovely brindle girl). Cleo and Kira were inseparable, it was like having one dog with eight legs!
