"Chance" Fabian

Chance was 5 years old when we adopted him on July 20, 1999.  We just found his racing background thanks to the wonderful internet & he was a Class B racer primarily in Florida.  He raced as Magic Copper at Palm Beach, Hollywood & a few other tracks.  His birth date is March 28, 1994 & his parents are Standing Applause & Showtime Monkey.

 

In his spare time, he likes to play with his little brother, Pepperoni the iggy who's almost 2 years old & Beauregard the 10 year old kitty.  He enjoys squeaky stuffed toys, late night walks with me & lounging on his new "computer room" bed, not to mention enjoys being petted & is a "leaner" or a "Velcro dog".  He also LOVES to "roo" at the drop of a hat & will do so on command.  He's trying to teach Pepperoni how to roo too.  Some day we hope to be a part of Therapy Dogs, we're still working on the "sit" command.

 

We've been active in a wonderful adoption group called TLC Greyhound Adoptions of MI since March.  Chance accompanies me to our meet & greets whenever he can.  People just love to talk to me about him  & when they start to pet him & he "leans" on them, they just melt!  We hope Chance will be with us for a long long LONG time to come!
