"Smiley" Folz

Smiley (racing name-BDK's Smiles) is our loving companion who we discovered at the Humane Society of Wisconsin.  She had been given to a family by her kennel and given up for "space reasons".  Since her adoption in April, 1996, Smiley has warmed our hearts, shared smiles with elderly neighbors, visited and taught young children in my classroom, and has willingly volunteered for Greyhound Pets of America - Wisconsin Chapter.  All this while she is dealing with lymphoma.  We are grateful for the wonderful services of the New Berlin Animal Hospital and the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.

Our dear Smiley has died of her cancer.  Her cancer would no longer respond to chemotherapy.  Would you please add this note to her bio.  "Smiley died on 2/22/99 in the loving care of her humans and Dr. Jennifer Bloss and Dawn of the New Berlin Animal Hospital."
